How does it work?

The Career Development programme comprises 4 weeks of technical training complimented by Business Skills modules for Data professionals and the opportunity to gain a range of certifications in the Language of SAS, Python or AWS to endorse your new skills.

The training is a blended approach of self-study eLearning, ‘Live’ online Classes, Masterclasses and supported by Project workshops, exercises and examples to support the learning journey. All delivered through our online Digital Learning Platform.

Upon completion of the training, Newtyne will introduce you to our network and add you to our skilled resource list to support your search for a new role.

You will also have the opportunity to extend your learning with our – Professional Certificate in Applied Data Programming (SCQF Level 7) , certificated and quality assured by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

Switch Up Programme

A solution for the Armed Forces

This 4 week technical programme with additional business skills modules is ideally suited to ex-military personnel who wish to transition from the armed services to a new career in civilian life, including early leavers. It provides full support with various technical and business skills to become a successful Data Analyst/Programmer or Data Engineer with certification and accreditation available across both the language of SAS and/or Python.

You will also have the opportunity to extend your learning with our Professional Certificate in Applied Data Programming (SCQF Level 7) .

British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS)

Career Change with BRFS

Working with the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS), a social enterprise, to provide support for the armed services community (AFC) looking to reskill as they transition to careers outside the military.

We offer a range of online training courses in the languages of SAS and Python from beginner to expert with certification and qualification options for a career in the world of Data and Analytics.
